The Green Lantern launched onto the big screen in 2011 with strong box office success in the US and Europe. Green Lantern sees the commitment from Warner Bros. to develop additional super hero franchises like Batman and Superman. Hal Jordan's adventures will continue throughout 2012 and 2013 in the all new Green Lantern: The Animated Series.
In the animated TV series, Hal Jordan, Earth's first Green Lantern, finds himself far from home and the leader of a small crew of heroes who are the galaxy's first and only line of defence against a seas of brutal invaders. The location of the story is the most exotic setting of all: Deep Space. The Guardian Frontier is almost like the Wild West, untamed and much of it uncharted. Hal and his team will visit a multitude of fantastic worlds and encounter many different alien civilizations.
Green Lantern: The Animated Series will launch in the US this November with an hour-long premiere episode. The full series starts in the UK in early 2012 on Cartoon Network. It will go free to air in the UK and the rest of Europe from Q3 2012
